Andrew Symonds Died: Former Australia cricketer Andrew Symonds has died. According to the information, Symonds died on Saturday night in a car accident in Townsville. According to police, a lot of effort was made to save Symonds but he could not be saved. The police also said that Symonds had suffered serious injuries in the accident.
According to media reports, the accident of Symonds’ car took place near Townsville. His car came down from the bridge of Ellis River. Simmonds was driving the car himself. The local emergency services tried to rescue them, but they were unsuccessful. Now the Forensic Crash Unit is probing his accident.
Symonds played the last match of his international career on 7 May 2009 against Pakistan. The T20 match was played in Dubai. Symonds remained in the limelight because of his alcohol addiction. If media reports are to be believed, he was dropped from T20 due to alcohol addiction. It was alleged that Symonds had broken rules related to drinking alcohol.
