India surprised the world by building a Guinness World Record 75 km road in 105 hours
Created history by making a road 75 km of road built within 5 days.

Ratlam/Jhabua/Alirajpur – National Highway Authority of India has created history by constructing 75 km of road in 105 hours and 33 minutes (within 5 days).
NHAI created a Guinness World Record by manufacturing 75 kms of bituminous concrete in single lane on Amravati to Akola section coming under National Highway 53 in record time. On this historic achievement, regional MP Gumansingh Damor has sent congratulations to the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
MP Gumansingh Damor said that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari shared this information on Wednesday. He said that the road has been prepared by 720 employees, which included a team of advisors.
The team worked day and night. The total length of 75 km single lane bituminous concrete road is equivalent to 37.5 km two-lane paved road. The construction of the road, which started at around 7 am on June 3, was completed by 5 pm on June 7.

MP Gumansingh Damor has congratulated Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and NHAI on this achievement. He said that NHAI has created a Guinness World Record. During the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, NHAI has successfully completed the construction of 75 km continuous bituminous concrete road in single lane from Amravati to Akola.
25.275 kilometer record was made in 2019
It is worth noting that before this the Guinness World Record for construction of bituminous road was made in February 2019 in Doha, Qatar. A road of 25.275 km was made here. It took 10 days to make it. The Amravati to Akola section is part of NH-53.
It is an important East Corridor, connecting major cities like Kolkata, Raipur, Nagpur and Surat.
On the successful completion of this world record, MP Damor also congratulated the Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and all the engineers, contractors, consultants, workers of Raj Path Infracon Pvt Ltd who helped in the construction work.
